Colloquium

The colloquium of your study group is a regular cours during the entire study program and the "nucleus" of the group-based culture of the Study Programme for Seniors at TU Dortmund University. In the colloquium, you and your fellow students are supported in your group finding and development process e.g. with discussions, group work or excursions. In particular, impulses for new social contacts, projects, groups or mentoring arise here. Therefore it is recomended to attend the colloqium every semester.

At the beginning, the colloquium introduces to everyday university life and its special features. Further learning content include an introduction to scientific work and theoretical aspects of civic engagement. In addition, the colloquium will help you to find your own individual goals for civic engagement. The colloquium also supports you in your internship and final paper.
