The study program is open to all interested persons from the age of 50. The Abitur or any other formal university entrance qualification is not required.

The Study Program for Seniors at TU Dortmund University offers an educational program at a scientific level and therefore cannot be compared to attending events, seminars or courses at non-university educational institutions.

What scientific work means in theory and practice is taught in the colloquium of your study group.  Here, the basic scientific working techniques are learnt and you are supported by practical exercises on the way to your own scientific working method.
