Catalog of Selected Courses
The Study Programme for Seniors publishes a "Catalog of Selected Courses" (VaV abbr. German) every semester, from which you can compile your personal study plan.
The "Catalog of Selected Courses" focuses on courses in the subjects of Social Gerontology, Sociology, Educational Science, Psychology, Philosophy, Theology and Rehabilitation Science.
The selection of courses is intended to provide you with important aspects of contemporary society from the perspective of different basic academic disciplines. This allows you to think about your own life situation in old age and gives impulses for your own positive ageing, as well as imparting knowledge on the topic of civic engagement.
You must register for all courses via the LSF, just like regular students.
The "Catalog of Selected Courses" is published in German.
Courses apart from the "Directory of Selected Courses”
In individual cases and only after personal consultation with the lecturer, courses that are not in the "Catalog of Selected Courses" can also be attended. In this case, regular students usually have priority in the allocation of places.
